Nature’s Laws

To accept that, though he is free to transgress,
Man cannot defy nature’s laws
Without paying an appropriate price,
Is in fact to avow the rule of God.

If Peace Takes Root

If peace takes root in Zion,
May each man grow a vine
And tend a garden fair;
But not, I pray, as is the trend,
Acquire a plane to shrink the sky
Or jeep to scar the land.
So hear, O Israel, whilst you can
The still small voice of calm.
